3RD SUNDAY OF LENT
  • Lent
    We are experiencing the time of Lent – ​​a time of conversion and repentance, preparing to experience the Paschal Mystery of Christ
  • Services
    During Great Lent, special services are held in our Archcathedral in the following order:
    • The Stations of the Cross – on Thursday after the evening Holy Mass (conducted by young people), on Friday after the evening Holy Mass (for adults), on Sunday after the Holy Mass at 10 a.m. – with the participation of children;
    • Lamentations – on Wednesday after the evening Holy Mass in Belarusian, on Sunday after the Holy Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Polish. As in previous years, our Cathedral is one of the “stationary” churches of Great Lent; this year, during the Lamentations on Wednesdays, we will reflect on the life and spiritual legacy of St. Francis on the occasion of the jubilee year of the 800th anniversary of the saint’s death.
    • Lenten retreats will be held from March 20 to 22
  • March 8, Sunday
    Today is Caritas Sunday – all donations collected today will be donated to this charitable organization
  • March 10, Tuesday
    On March 10, after the evening Holy Mass, another series of meetings will begin as part of the “Zernyatka” project, dedicated to discussing problems in family life.

  • March 15, Sunday
    Next Sunday, March 15, after the Holy Mass at 10 a.m., a meeting will be held with the parents of children who will receive their First Holy Communion this year; therefore, there will be no Stations of the Cross next Sunday
  • March 16
    On March 16, we will celebrate the 316th anniversary of the consecration of our Archcathedral. The evening Holy Mass will be led by Archbishop Józef Stanewski, Metropolitan of Minsk-Mogilev, we invite you to pray
  • Lenten retreats
    Lenten retreats will be held from March 20 to 22, led by Fr. Alexander Ashmianchuk CSMA – pastor of the parish of St. Michael the Archangel in the village of Gatava.
  • Parish Caritas
    As in the past year, the parish Caritas on March 8 and 15 organizes a collection of food products with a long shelf life: cereals (various), sugar, flour, canned food (various), sunflower oil, tea, coffee.

    From 09:00 to 15:00. The products will be delivered to needy parishioners - the elderly, the sick, the lonely, part of the products will be donated to the Pramen-Mayak organization, which prepares food for people in need.
  • We encourage you to invite priests to the sick faithful so that they can prepare to experience the Paschal Mystery
  • We remind you that in our Cathedral there is an opportunity to begin the sacrament of penance before each Holy Mass, as well as during the day from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm.
