2ND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
2ND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
- Rarat Holy Masses in our Cathedral take place every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7 am, on Tuesday – at 6:30 am – Raratas with the participation of youth, on Saturday – at 6:30 pm – Raratas with the participation of children.
We invite you to participate in these Holy Masses.
Advent retreats will be held from December 18 to 21, they will be led by Bishop Andrei Znoska, auxiliary bishop of the Pinsk diocese - December 8, MondayThe Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Holy Masses at 7:00, 8:00, 12:00 and 18:30.
This solemnity is obligatory – every believer must participate in the Holy Mass and refrain from performing non-obligatory work - The feast of Saint Lucy, virgin and martyr.
On the occasion of the memory of Saint Lucy, after the evening Holy Mass, we invite you to an evening dedicated to the memory of this saint – a small concert and refreshments will be held - On the night of December 13 to 14Our Cathedral will host a traditional Advent youth vigil. Registration begins at 21:30, Holy Mass at 22:30
- Parish CaritasMany thanks to everyone who responded to the offer of our Caritas to participate in congratulating children with developmental disabilities who are in the village of Rasna, Mogilev region. Gifts can be brought to the sacristy until December 7
- Parish CaritasParish Caritas also invites children and young people to participate in the campaign "Congratulate Jesus on Christmas".
This can be done in the format of a video greeting or a homemade postcard until December 15.
And on December 21, after the Holy Mass at 10 a.m., we will determine and congratulate the winners of the competition in both formats in different age categories.

Caritas Minsk will celebrate World Volunteer Day
On December 9 and 10, a meeting of parish Caritas volunteers of the Minsk-Mogilev Archdiocese will take place in the village of Lyaskovka (Minsk district), and then in the Cathedral Church of the Holy Name of Mary in Minsk.

The meeting for parish Caritas volunteers will be held by Sister Valeria Patsukevich of MSF, who is responsible for charitable activities in the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family. Volunteers will summarize the results of their work and discuss areas of activity.

Holy Mass will be held in the Cathedral of the Most Holy Name of Mary, the celebration will be led by the Metropolitan of Minsk-Mogilev Archbishop Yusof Stanevsky on the occasion of the World Volunteer Day. Afterwards, participants will learn more about the activities of the parish Caritas.
